The Big Ride 2025 will be bigger and better than ever before! Take on a tough endurance challenge and help to keep children safe, in school and learning.

Story

Two children and no time to train! But that's not stopping me raising money for Street Child by cycling 100miles a day in the hills of Ireland! Anything you can donate would be great!

___________

The Big Ride 2025 is back ! Liberty Global & Street Child is set to take place on the 18th and 19th of June, and it promises to be an extraordinary event! Participants will embark on a personal challenge, choosing between a cycle challenge that spans from 60 to 170km over both days or a half or full marathon. This is not just about endurance; it’s about making a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable children around the world.

Our efforts

During this event, members of the tax team will push their limits by cycling between 120 to 170 kilometers and running marathon or half marathon distances each day. By taking on this physically demanding challenge, we aim to raise awareness and funds to support Street Child’s vital work. Each kilometer we cycle and each mile we run is a step towards a brighter future for children supported by this organization.

How Can You Help

We have set up this fundraising page where you can join us in making a meaningful impact. Your generous donation will directly support Street Child’s programs, ensuring that children in crisis zones can continue their education safely.

Here's just a few examples of what the money raised can do for Street Child:

£10 could provide a learning kit, including stationery and textbooks, for a child living in conflict in North East Nigeria.

£40 could provide a sports kit, like footballs and nets, for 100 children fleeing conflict in Mozambique, helping improve their mental health.

£75 could buy warm clothing and basic supplies for a family in Ukraine who have fled their home.

£100 could send a girl to primary school in Afghanistan for one year, giving her the tools to change her future.

£500 could pay for a teacher in a refugee camp in Uganda for one term, reaching hundreds of displaced children with vital education.

£1,500 could build a classroom in rural Sierra Leone, leaving a lasting impact for generations.

Thank you !
