Sutty’s fundraiser for The Matt Hampson Foundation

As a Disability Specialist Coach and Gym Co-ordinator at Matt Hampson Foundation, I help people with disabilities to improve their physical and mental health through exercise and lifestyle coaching. I have more than six years of experience as a certified personal trainer and disability specialist, and I am passionate about empowering my clients to overcome their challenges and achieve their fitness goals.
I have a personal connection to my work, as I suffer from a rare neurological disorder called Dystonia, which affects the use of my hands and speech. I have found that fitness and exercise help me to manage my condition and cope with its effects. I have also completed multiple qualifications through the Instruct Ability Programme, which is designed for people with disabilities who want to pursue a career in the fitness industry.
I have set myself the below challenges to complete within 7 weeks to help raise money for the our beneficiaries at The Matt Hampson Foundation. 1x Half Marathon, 2x Marathons and 1x Ultra Marathon!
April 7th - London Landmarks Half Marathon
April 14th - Manchester Marathon
April 21st - London Marathon
May 12th May - Leeds Half Marathon
May 25th - Ultra Marathon 100Km, London2Brighton
Those closest to me know the importance that the Foundation, staff and beneficiaries mean to me Any donations welcome, thank you for your support!
The Matt Hampson Foundation inspires and supports young people seriously injured through sport through its unique Get Busy Living centre in rural Leicestershire. The centre provides expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice to people suffering a life-changing injury.
The centre’s doors were opened in 2018 by Founder and ex-England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005.
