At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

We’re running the Manchester Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer’s research and support. This cause is very close to our hearts.

James is running in memory of his mam, who sadly passed away not long ago after her battle with Alzheimer’s. It’s a way to honour her, celebrate her life, and help others facing this devastating illness.

Adam is running alongside, showing his support every step of the way. Together, we want to make a difference and raise vital funds to help find better treatments, provide care, and bring hope to families affected.

We would both like to also say a huge thank you to AC Event Catering for kindly sponsoring us both before the event — we really appreciate their generosity and support.

Any donation, big or small, means the world to us and will go directly towards fighting Alzheimer’s. Thank you so much for your support. 💜
