On 1st November 2026, I will be taking on the New York City Marathon, a world-famous race and a major personal challenge to support the incredible work of Evora Hospice Care (formerly Southern Area Hospice).

Evora Hospice Care helps patients with life-limiting conditions live well from diagnosis to end-of-life, providing care tailored to each person’s unique needs, wishes, and quality of life. Every donation goes directly to supporting their vital services.

Over the past few years, I’ve been honoured to support others fundraising for Evora Hospice Care. Now it’s my turn, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone supporting me on this journey.

The marathon will test me physically and mentally, but every mile represents my commitment to a charity that offers comfort and support when it matters most. Crossing the finish line will be a special personal milestone, following in the footsteps of my mum and dad, who ran the New York Marathon in 1999. More importantly, this run will help ensure Evora Hospice Care can continue delivering their life-changing care.
