Story
I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by Scope through their partnership with Evri to run the London marathon.
I am also grateful that Evri will match a portion of any contributions raised.
I am so excited to be running for Scope as my late grandad had a severe stroke in his 40’s so growing up I have seen first hand what living with a disability can be like.
There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. That’s one in four of us. Life is harder when you’re disabled. You're twice as likely to be unemployed, getting care is a struggle and the cost of living is higher. It’s wrong and unacceptable.
So, I'm fundraising for Scope to help create a fairer society.
We want a future that’s fair to disabled people, always. Together we’ll use our collective power to change attitudes and end the injustice.
Join me in supporting Scope, any contribution will help them with their goal to end disability inequality.
