'The Port Men in Sheds' project has been a significant force in West Cheshire & Wirral in helping 100s of men combat the effects of loneliness and isolation often brought about through retirement and bereavement. We provide a range of activities and a space in which to 'Meet - Make - Communicate'.

Story

I am fundraising for The Port Men In Sheds, a local charity that has provided invaluable support to my loved one. My dad has been diagnosed with dementia, and the shed has become a safe haven for him, offering a welcoming environment and the opportunity to connect with others.

It's heartening to know that this organisation has helped countless elderly individuals combat loneliness and find a sense of belonging.

With your support, I will run/walk fast with a log on my shoulder for a minimum of 12 hours on November 16, 2024, as a personal challenge. The goal is to raise £1,000 towards equipment, brew funds, and furniture for the shed.

Your contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia and isolation. Thank you for considering a donation.
