Story
We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing support.
We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future.
I'll keep this brief but here's a bit of a background as to why I've decided to run the 2026 London Marathon.
In 2024, my Mum was unfortunately diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After enduring operations, countless tests and medications, and several rounds of long chemotherapy to fight the disease, I am happy to say that she is now in remission. This would not be possible without the work and research carried out by charities like Breast Cancer Now and, unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky. This has led me to question what I can do to help - so here we are, trying to fight cancer one step at a time.
I also wanted to mention another motivation for me taking on this challenge. My partner's Dad was also diagnosed with cancer at the start of 2024 and is sadly no longer with us. I will be running this in memory of Steve too.
Thank you for visiting my page and donating to help me reach my target and to find help everyone affected by cancer.
