Story
As a dedicated team from 15 Squadron RAF Regiment, stationed at RAF Akrotri, we are embarking on an challenge to honor and support our fellow service personnel. Our mission is to collectively cover the incredible distance of 3,200 km — the equivalent journey from RAF Marham in the United Kingdom to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. This feat will be achieved over three days by 9 to 11 committed members of our squadron, each pushing their limits by covering up to 355 km through a combination of running, swimming, cycling, and gym workouts.
This event will take place at RAF Akrotiri during the last week of May 2026. We have chosen to raise funds for The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund (RAFBF), a charity that provides vital support to both current and former service personnel. Their work ensures that those who have served our country receive the care and assistance they deserve — whether facing physical challenges, mental health struggles, or financial difficulties.
We want reach our target of £500. Your generous contribution will directly impact the lives of past, present, and future members of the Royal Air Force community. Join us in making a difference — every donation brings us closer to helping those who have given so much for us all. Together, we can turn this challenge into hope and strength for those who need it most.
