On March 23, 2021, my cousin Benjamin sadly passed away as a result of DIPG.

DIPG is a rare, fast-growing & aggressive brain tumour that largely affects children - basically the worst of the worst. There is currently no treatment for it, and due to its rarity, there's not a huge amount of funding either.

Blaze, the charity set up by my cousin Ellen in Benjamin's memory, is raising money to support the children and families affected by DIPG.

This race is being held on the four year anniversary of Benjamin's passing, and I know he'd be excited to hear that work he started years ago was now being used to raise money for such a good cause.
