Velindre Cancer Charity helps deliver exceptional cancer services to over 1.7 million people across South East Wales. We help pave the way for a future with world-class, research-led treatments and supportive care that can change lives. Together, we will achieve Victory Over Cancer.

Story

Along with 12 others I will be making the journey to Nepal where we will trek for 14 days through the himalayan mountains to Everest base camp (5,364m). The journey will begin by flying into Lukla, labelled the worlds most dangerous airport, before even starting the challenge of a 120km round trip, 5364m elevation, oxygen levels as low as 65% & temperatures as low as -20deg.

This may be a trip of a lifetime for me but it’s more important that I use this opportunity to help raise money for those suffering with Cancer and their loved ones who go through the heartbreaking journey with them. Any money raised would go a long way, so if you can, please help by donating below.

Follow our journey on instragram - everest.basecamp.2024 as we get to know each other, train together and prepare for the trip of a lifetime. Thank you for any support you can offer.
