Race the Sun Jurassic Coast Off-Road 2024 · 29 June 2024 ·

Teams of four or two will be setting off at sunrise on this Triathlon-style adventure challenge aiming to finish before the sun sets! Teams will cycle, hike, and canoe with views of the breathtaking Jurassic Coast.

Story

JUNE will be a busy month for me as I will be pushing my old body to the limits by taking on two challenges within 3 weeks of each other.

Firstly, on the 8th June, I will be Hiking a Marathon (26 Miles) from Eastbourne to Brighton with my wife Vicky. We are raising Money for Macmillan, I know we have all been effected in someway by Cancer and any funding towards research will surely only help.

Secondly, on the 29th June, I will be taking on a Triathlon style challenge Biking (28 miles), Hiking (10 miles) and Kayaking (2 miles) called Race the Sun, which is along the Jurassic coast. I will be entering this as a team with local lads Jake Oliver, Darren Culley, and James Mercer. Our Team is called "Tisbury Tools". We are raising money for Action Medical Research which is a UK charity funding vital research to help sick babies, children with disabilities and those suffering from a rare disease.

Any support will be hugely appreciated and could I ask that you split any donations between the two charities on each of my Just Giving pages.

Many thanks

Jamie
