Hello everyone,

In March, I faced the devastating news that my cancer had returned after a year in remission. Thanks to the incredible care of my cancer team, it was caught early, and I’ve been undergoing immunotherapy treatment since then. Hearing “your cancer has returned” was almost as tough as the initial diagnosis, but the words “your results are clear” brought immense relief and joy during my recent follow-up in September.

In the excitement of receiving the all-clear, I signed up for the Mega Miles Challenge with Melanoma Focus! This event runs from 1st October 2024 to 1st May 2025, and I aim to complete 1000 miles through walking, jogging, and cycling. This challenge is particularly meaningful to me as it coincides with the end of my immunotherapy treatment.

Participating in this challenge while undergoing treatment will be complex, but I am determined to make every mile count. With the unwavering support of my family and friends, I am confident that I can achieve this goal and help raise awareness and funds for melanoma research.
