RUHX is the official charity of the Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The RUH has been a huge part of my life ever since I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a child. The hospital team supported me growing up - guiding me, caring for me, and helping me learn to manage my condition so I could live confidently and stay healthy. I’ll always be grateful for the doctors, nurses and specialists who have been by my side throughout the years. Because of that support, I want to give something back and help another area of the RUH that changes lives every day - the cancer services. Cancer touches so many families, and it’s a vital department that relies on donations and fundraising to continue offering the best care possible. This run is my chance to say thank you for everything the RUH has done for me and help another part of the hospital that really needs support.

At RUHX, were more than a hospital charity. We go further to give every patient the extra extraordinary care they deserve, while supporting our staff to do what they do best and furthering innovation within our hospitals. Were out there in our community, collaborating with the people and organisations who drive real change. And were making sure that every penny we raise goes towards improving health, happiness and wellbeing for everyone in Bath and beyond.
