Story
I’m raising money to say thank you for the continuing care Bristol Children’s Hospital have been giving my daughter Maisie.
Maisie was born with Scleroderma.
Scleroderma is a rare, chronic autoimmune disease causing the body to overproduce collagen, leading to hardened skin, blood vessel changes, and potential internal organ damage.
Since the age of 6 Maisie has had regular treatment, medications and check ups at the hospital.
They’ve been absolutely amazing for her and our family can’t thank them enough for their love and support we’ve received.
Maisie is 14 now and still has regular check ups but no current issues and is confident with her Scleroderma and is apart of who she is.
On Saturday May 9th, I’ll be attempting to complete the West Country 100 mile Ultra Marathon.
