Story

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m raising funds for Special Olympics Great Britain (SOGB) — an incredible organisation that transforms lives through the power of sport. Special Olympics GB provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them opportunities to build confidence, make friends, and achieve their full potential — both on and off the field.

For many athletes, the Special Olympics is more than just sport. It’s a community where they are accepted, celebrated, and supported to be their best selves. This cause means a lot to me because "I’ve seen firsthand how sport can change lives." Having been involved for over 10 years as both a coach and athlete and competing regularly at several sports representing West Midlands at 2 National Games in both 5-a-side football and badminton winning 1 bronze in badminton and 2 bronze medals in men's singles and men's doubles, I also had the honour of representing Great Britain at the 2019 World Games winning a bronze in men's singles in badminton. "I believe everyone deserves a chance to shine."

Every pound raised goes directly towards providing coaching, equipment, competitions, and opportunities that help athletes across the UK thrive. 💪 Together, we can help create more moments of joy, inclusion, and achievement for thousands of athletes who inspire us every day.

As I prepare to participate in the London Marathon on April 26th, 2026, my goal is to raise £2,000 for this amazing cause. If you can donate — every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing my page would mean the world too. ❤️ Thank you for your support — let’s make a difference together!
