Story
In April, JAMES & JOHN will be taking on the 10 Peaks Challenge in the Brecon Beacons to fundraise for Bridge the Gap Football.
We both believe the football pitch can be a powerful place for connection and belonging. BTG runs open-access community football sessions - meeting young men who are struggling with life hardships, addiction, poor mental health & well-being. The team of volunteers meet players where they are at, creating safe, welcoming spaces where trust and relationships are built, giving players the opportunity to open up and find transformation through getting connected with support, or into Church and Alpha.
We are fundraising together, so more young men across the UK can have the opportunity to receive this support.
The charity's vision is bold: they want to launch 150 Bridge the Gap football sites by 2030. Through football, they bridge the gap between community and church, opening doors for faith, purpose, and lasting impact and transformation from life's struggles.
