Story
Eden Valley Hospice provides free-of-charge, specialist care for adults with life-limiting illnesses, as well as invaluable bereavement support for their families and friends. It costs £5.3 million a year to ensure the hospice can continue to provide this compassionate care 24-hours a day, seven-days a week, with the majority of this funded by the generosity of the public.
James has personal experience of the incredible service the hospice provides, and now he and Scott are embarking on a challenge to raise money to help them continue their much-needed work. Inspired by the BBC’s Race Across the World, the pair will be racing across Europe, reaching eight mystery checkpoints along the way, aiming to spend as little of their budget as possible and complete the challenge faster than all the other teams – no phones, maps or (the hardest part for this pair) arguing allowed!
Any donation you can make – however big or small – would be massively appreciated. Thank you!
