Jasper, Rufus and Ludo are attempting to hike the entire 85km length of the Peak District in 24 hours. This is in memory of their father James and raising money for the Air Ambulance Service. · 16 August 2025

Every day of the year, your local air ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day. We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying.

Your local air ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care teams attend an average five rescues a day giving the very best chance of survival and recovery. Our Critical Care Cars mean we can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.

Donations enable The Air Ambulance Service to meet the clinical needs of patients by covering operational costs to ensure all our vital services are ready to respond.
