Story

Hi everyone and anyone reading this.

A few years ago, my Grandma passed away after a long battle with cancer and during the final moments of her life, she was taken great care of by the amazing team at Pilgrims Hospice. The work support that they give during these really difficult moments is amazing and as a result of the care they gave my Grandma, I am running the London Marathon 2025 in aid of Pilgrims Hospice. This will be my second marathon, and my first London Marathon.

I need to raise a goal of £1800. This amount of money would pay for all of the medicine used in one of their inpatient units for 20 days.

Please donate as much as you can. Each £25 donated could be used to provide another hour of specialist end-of-life nursing care to someone in one of their units.

I'm sure there are many people reading this who have had a loved one cared for by Pilgrims Hospice. All of their work is completely free of charge, and with 80% of all funding Pilgrims Hospice receive being through voluntary donations such as yours, your donation couldn't be more important.

Thanks for taking the time to read. I will be sharing progress of my training regularly so you can be assured that your donation is valued massively by me
