I’m taking part in this challenge to raise money for Coventry Haven Women’s Aid and to support the vital work they do with women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse.

I’m passionate about giving back to my community, building positive community relationships and helping people through different stages of their life journeys. Through my role at Unity Bank, this challenge also reflects our Corporate Social Responsibility and our commitment to supporting communities and making a positive impact.

I believe good communities can help create better outcomes for people, and fundraising is one way we can all play a part. I also want to help raise awareness of violence against women and girls, and the specialist support Coventry Haven provides across the city.

I feel it is especially important for men to speak up, raise awareness and be advocates in ending violence against women and girls.
