Fire Walk Challenge · 21 March 2025

The Baby Bank was set up in 2015 with the aim of providing support to families struggling. Since its inception we have provided items to over 10,000 individuals, items range from nappies and wipes to new mattresses, uniform and clothes. The impact of covid has dramatically increased our work.

Story

I am raising money for The Baby Bank (Charity No. 1179580), a charity that provides essential baby and children’s items to families in need across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and surrounding areas. They support struggling parents by redistributing donated clothing, equipment, and other necessities, ensuring that every child gets the best possible start in life.

This cause is especially important to me because a member of my family, who works in Children & Young People’s Nursing within NHS England, has been an incredible source of support for both my family and The Baby Bank. Their dedication to helping vulnerable children and families inspires me every day, and I want to show my appreciation by giving back.

To help raise funds, I am taking on the Fire Walk Challenge on Friday, 21st March, at Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground, Windsor (SL4 5AY). This event is about pushing limits, overcoming fears, and uniting as a community to make a real difference.

I will be walking barefoot over hot embers to support The Baby Bank, helping to provide vital support to families who need it most. Every donation, no matter the amount, will contribute to this important cause and keep me motivated as I take on this challenge.

Please support my fundraising effort and help me make a difference. Thank you!
