On the 12th May, i'm running the Leeds Half Marathon for my partner's Step Mum who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease earlier this year. She's genuinely an incredible individual with an inspiring outlook on life and we're so proud of her. We want to do everything we can to raise awareness of this disease in the hope the MND association can work towards a cure.

I'm raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, because I want to help beat MND. MND is a rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. Currently there is no cure. I want to help the MND Association to achieve their vision; a world free from MND. I would love your support, every penny counts.

Every donation is so important and really does make a difference:

£10 connects a newly diagnosed person with valuable support through a comprehensive MND Guide

£100 enables someone to bank their own voice and buys software to be able to communicate with loved ones

£250 will support a child whose world has been turned upside down by MND, offering the chance to improve their wellbeing or make special memories with the family.

£500 can go towards the cost of a ceiling hoist or pay towards housing adaptations such as a ramp to enable someone to live in their own home.
