Story
This September, I'm taking on a cycling challenge in memory of someone incredibly special and to support a cause that's deeply personal to me – Bowel Cancer UK.
In 2020, I lost my father to bowel cancer after a long and courageous fight. His strength and determination throughout his illness continue to inspire me every day. Recently, my uncle also received a bowel cancer diagnosis and thankfully, thanks to early detection and treatment, he's on the road to recovery.
These experiences have made bowel cancer a cause incredibly close to my heart. It's a disease that has touched my family far too deeply, and it's one that affects countless others across the UK.
Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK, but it shouldn't be. Early detection is crucial, and Bowel Cancer UK plays a vital role in raising awareness, funding research, and providing invaluable support to patients and families.
That's why I'm hitting the saddle this September. By participating in this cycling challenge, I hope to raise critical funds for Bowel Cancer UK and help them continue their lifesaving work.
Together, we can make a difference.
Please consider donating to my fundraising page – every contribution, big or small, will bring us closer to defeating bowel cancer.
