Story

Local Wigan Dad & business owner is getting into the Christmas spirit.

Not only are they opening their food business (Chicken & Bits in Hindley) on Christmas Day giving out free meals to the local community. He has now set himself the challenge of climbing Mount Everest the equivalent of 5 times on a stair master throughout the month of December at his local gym Trans4orm in Wigan.

All in the aid of raising money for an amazing local charity The Brick

Our aim is to eradicate homelessness and poverty in our community. We support homeless people, those facing homelessness, and people experiencing crisis or poverty in the Wigan borough.People who are marginalised by society, who can, with support, become independent and contribute positively to their communities. Services include crisis intervention, housing and health support on behalf of the Council, a foodbank, social and employment training, and wide-ranging volunteering opportunities. We ensure no one in our community gets left behind.
