The Cricketers’ Trust is looking to raise much needed funds with a once in a lifetime trek in North Africa.

Story

The Cricketers Trust was created to support the life-long health and wellbeing of past and present cricketers and their immediate families. As part of professional cricket’s leading charity, the Trust funds life-changing assistance through expert advice, rehabilitation programmes and a dedicated 24-hour Confidential Helpline

Personally, since leaving Durham CCC in 2016 the Trust has and continues to assist me in my transition from professional cricket. The trust has been a consistent help and support in my ongoing adjustment to 'everyday life' post professional cricket.

From granting me financial funding towards my education, the trust has helped me to complete a Bachelor's degree in Sports & Exercise Science and start a Masters degree in Sports Psychology, both from Liverpool John Moores University. The trust has also provided me financial funding with becoming a qualified personal trainer and an ECB qualified coach.

During the tougher times since leaving professional cricket when I have struggled with poor mental health, I have utilised the help and services provided by the Trust's Confidential helpline, allowing me access to professional help in the form of a local counsellor.

I am truly thankful for the numerous sources of help and support I have received from the Trust over the past 9 years. I would be very thankful if you could donate towards the Toubkal Trek and ensure the trust allows to support current & former players.
