Story

I am taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2026 in aid of the Stars Appeal, Salisbury Hospital's Charity.

In January 2020, I very unfortunately had a solo car accident which caused some life changing injuries. Thanks to the amazing NHS, everybody at Addenbrooke's hospital, and Salisbury District hospital most importantly, my life has remained normal!

With the endless appointments, care and support from the Wessex Rehab Centre, Hand Therapy, Scar Clinic, Laser Clinic (and many more!) over a seemingly never-ending 9 month period during Covid, I have made an amazing and seamless recovery.

Without the amazing work that Stars Appeal do, the likes of the Wessex Rehab Centre would not exist. Being surrounded by individuals in a similar struggle to me, with the care of all of the amazing OTs and nurses and my friends and family, I was able to get through a seriously tough time in my life.

With one of the major operations I had, I wasn't able to walk or run properly for a while. In order to get through this and Covid I began running more and more. I always thought one day I would love to run the London Marathon and raise some money and awareness for a fantastic cause, so I feel privileged to have a place and it feels almost like a full circle moment.

Any donation would be hugely appreciated and any support and well wishes would be amazing!
