The Three Wonders of Leek: A Walk for James

This Autumn , we gather once again for a cherished tradition: a 26.6-mile walk in memory of James. What began as a simple tribute has grown stronger each year—and in 2025, we’re proud to step into its fifth year, carrying forward his legacy with every mile.

The route winds through Rudyard Lake, Tittesworth Reservoir, and The Roaches—three stunning landmarks forever tied to James’s story. And as we raise funds for Dougie Mac hospice, we’ll also take a moment to remember our dear friend Andrew ‘Jocky’ Wilson, who we sadly lost to cancer earlier this year. His humour, kindness, and presence will walk beside us in spirit.
