Story
Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent.
We are the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. We know what works for men – and what doesn’t. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention – we’re taking them all on.
I’m doing a challenge on Thursday 30th of November for a great charity Movember that has funded more than 1250 men’s health projects around the world, Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health on a global scale, focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
The challenge I’m going to do is 60 miles back to back 30 miles cycling and 30 miles walking, Starting early in the morning and I’m looking to complete this challenge hopefully in 13 hours weather depending, I’ve never done this much in one day so will be challenging.
The 60 miles is to highlight the 60 men around the world who take their own life every hour.
I’m doing this challenge to raise awareness for men’s mental health, when men are struggling mentally sometimes reaching out can be the hardest thing to do, but there is a lot of support out there, also from family, friends, and colleagues, who can help us up from those dark places.
Thank you for your support.
