Like a lot of people I first got into running during the covid lockdown, as there wasn’t many other forms of keeping active available. I have worked my way up to doing 10k and completing 5 half marathons since 2021.

I have now turned my sights on the iconic London marathon, that is going to be a huge challenge for me. But this is just a small obstacle compared to what some children have to go through just living their daily life who are visually impaired.

This can feel isolating on a daily basis to thousands of children. And the closest thing I can personally relate to this is the months of lock down, when we was all shut away and unable to socialise and interact with other people out side of own homes.

This is why I have decided to run this marathon on behalf of LOOK
