Jamie's fundraiser for the Fine & Country Foundation

Jamie Tulloch is raising money for Fine & Country Foundation

TCS New York City Marathon 2025 · 2 November 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

The Fine & Country Foundation has been created to help combat one of the largest social issues in the UK – homelessness. Last year, the Government estimated around 2,414 people sleep on the street on any one night across England, a rise of 36% over three years. Often the reasons for homelessness are misunderstood, with many blaming the individuals for poor life decisions and carelessness. The reality is: people become homeless for a whole range of complex and overlapping reasons that cannot be avoided, such as family breakdowns, mental or physical health problems or debts. Solving homelessness does not only involve putting a roof over people’s heads, it is also trying to tackle the root of the problem and asking the question: why did they became homeless in the first place? The Fine & Country Foundation is dedicated to bringing together all Fine & Country agents in over 300 locations worldwide to raise awareness of the causes of homelessness whilst supporting homeless charities.

Story

This fundraiser is a double event to help raise money for the Fine & Country Foundation which is a great cause. The Fine & Country Foundation raises money to combat the causes of homelessness in the UK and overseas.

On Sunday 21st September I will be trying to complete Ironman Wales (at Tenby, Pembrokeshire) which consists of a 2.4 mile sea swim, 112 mile bike ride and then a 26.2 mile run. It's a gruelling triathlon so I really hope it's a nice day!

Six weeks later (Sunday 2nd November) I will be tyring to run the New York marathon which I'm planning to do in fancy dress, not sure what yet but more details to follow on this.

Any donations, big or small, would be really appreciated as every donation will help make a difference.
