I'm going to do a 24 hour marathon kayak to raise money for St. David's Hospice. In the last two years I've lost my Mam and Dad to Cancer. This was the most trying time of my life, and without Hospice care and the dignity, compassion and end of life treatment they provide, this experience would have been very different for Mam at the very end.

I did my first 10 miles back on December 23rd 2024...now 6 weeks out, I'm kayaking 8 to 10 hours per week! In the final few weeks I'll be doing 12-15 hours of training per week, with 20, 30 and 45 mile trips.
