Ghent Marathon 2025 · 30 March 2025

Samuel's Smile was set up by myself Samuel and I am 17, I have a RARE disease called Total Intestinal Hirschsprungs disease, there are only 3 kids in Scotland. My aim is for all the kids out there with RARE diseases to give them a chance to Smile together and also grant individual SMILES.

Story

A marriage of my only two personality traits: running and Belgium xx

I'm running the Ghent Marathon on 30 March 2025, and have chosen to raise money for Samuel's Smile who provide amazing support to children, and families of children, with rare or undiagnosed medical conditions both during and after their time in hospital. The charity was founded by Samuel and his family following his own experience with a rare illness, and to plug the gap in the support available to families going through similar circumstances. This is a charity really close to me due to the support they provided to my family during my little cousin's year-stay in hospital, and in the happier years since. Anything you can give to support the inspiring work that they do is really appreciated so thank you in advance!

If you'd like to hear more about the charity, I've posted their link below.
