The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Jamie’s brothers, his friends and myself are taking on a big cycling challenge to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity – in memory of Jamie, who passed away on 2nd December 2023 at the age of 28.

We are doing a 4-day cycle around the West Coast of Ireland starting on August 24th, 2024. We need to cycle 60-70km per day to keep to schedule, it definitely won’t be easy so the training starts now!

Jamie loved cycling, so we couldn’t think of a better challenge to honour him and raise donations for such an important cause. Only 1% of cancer research funding in the UK is dedicated to brain tumours, despite it being the leading cancer in those under 40. We would be very grateful for any size of donation, this will keep us motivated to continue pedalling!
