Hello, my name is Jan, a retired teacher, passionate dog owner and proud supporter of WECare, a charity set up by vet Janey Lowes dedicated to helping improve the lives of street dogs in Sri Lanka by providing much needed veterinary care to animals in need and neutering, vaccination and education programs in the wider community.

As I get older I have grown to appreciate more the importance of time spent helping others, it is really good for the soul! So at the start of May I will be heading over to Sri Lanka to Volunteer for WECare to work on their outreach CNVR program for two months.
