Story

I am excited to participate in the Norwich Cathedral Sleepout on January 26th as part of the 'A Night in the Cloisters' campaign to support St Martins, a local charity that has been helping homeless people in Norwich and Norfolk for over 50 years.

As someone who has never experienced homelessness, I cannot imagine what it must be like to sleep rough every night. As part of my role at St Martins I hear from people who have had to sleep rough (it's not a 'lifestyle choice'!). This is why I want to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those who are homeless and support St Martins to continue to make a difference when people are at their most vulnerable and despairing.

At St Martins we provide more than just a roof over someone's head. We empower people to make positive choices and rebuild their lives. We nurture self-esteem and trust in others, which is crucial for anyone trying to get back on their feet. Whether it's providing a warm bed or offering job training, St Martins is there for those who need it most.

I am hoping to raise £1,000 for this cause. Every donation counts and will make a difference in someone's life. Please consider supporting me and St Martins by donating today.
