I am starting our Cornwall Mind 2026 fundraising by taking on an inspirational challenge. I will be pushing my boundaries and fears to walk over hot coals in bare feet. As always, this is in memory of my beloved son Jake who passed away on 29th December 2023.

I want his name to always be heard and his memory never to be forgotten. Since he left us I am lost and heartbroken, no parent should ever have to bear the pain of losing a child. We must all do what we can to help those who are struggling and the survivors who have been left behind.

Cornwall Mind are here to help. They provide advice and support to anyone experiencing poor mental health and campaign to improve services and raise awareness throughout Cornwall. They provide support for those left behind and recognise the value of talking to others who have experienced a similar loss.

Although affiliated to Mind the national charity, Cornwall Mind is an independently registered and funded charity dependent on fundraising and donations. With our support they will continue their life-changing and vital work in the community.
