In lieu of any gifts you might have been tempted to bring to the event, instead we would like to dedicate the event to support for Abernethy Trust, that has progressively become one of our dearest charities.

Lynne and Julian Finn first introduced us to Abernethy. We made our first tentative 500 mile visit in 1996, taking the boys for a week of serious outdoor activities within a Christian context. It was a great experience and we never looked back, visiting almost every year for our main summer holiday for 10-12 years. Eventually Josh entered the Abernethy 1-year Trainee Instructor course, went on to work as an instructor at Abernethy, then mixed it with being a full time skiing instructor (including over 100 consecutive skiing days!) and mountain bike trail manager. Abernethy was the making of him, as well as many other young people, enabled by an inspirational organisation in a special place.
