In a moment of madness we signed up for the challenge of cycling over 250 miles across Vietnam into Cambodia with a group of fellow Women V Cancer fundraisers and awareness-raisers!

We head out to Vietnam on the 23rd of November 2024 and we've well and truly got the fundraising ball rolling as we're aiming to raise as much as we can for the Women V Cancer partnership (Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Unfortunately Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust went into liquidation earlier this years so all funds raised will be split equally between Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action). Everything raised here will go straight to the charities as we're funding the travel, accommodation etc costs ourselves.

The cycle itself will be a big challenge for us both but it will be nothing compared to the challenge faced and embraced by the way too many people who live with or die from a cancer diagnosis.

We've both been touched by cancer through losing friends and family members and we both see the Women V Cancer partnership and events as not only a terrific way of raising much-needed funds and awareness, but also as a great way of bringing women together - many of whom are living with cancer, are in remission, or have lost family members - in a supportive community, encouraging them to get fitter and stronger together.

We've set ourselves a target of raising £5000 and we're so grateful for every donation we receive.
