Story
They ride again… 🚴♀️
Last year, when we arrived in Amsterdam, Sal swore she’d never get on a bike again.
Then, before Christmas, I convinced her otherwise…I’ll admit, I may have played the cancer card I hoped I’d never have to use.
Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer following investigations at Worcester Breast Cancer Haven — a warm, nurturing place filled with incredible people doing truly important work.
So for me — and for this amazing place — Sal is getting back on the bike.
This time, we’re taking on a much bigger challenge: cycling from Worcester Breast Cancer Haven all the way to Brest in France.
It hasn’t been easy. I only finished radiotherapy at the end of February, and Sal has been juggling training around new full time work commitments. Safe to say, this will be a real challenge for us both.
We’re doing it to give something back to a place that means a great deal to us.
If you can, please take a moment to read more about Worcester Breast Cancer Haven and consider supporting us. Every bit truly makes a difference.
Thank you so much ❤️
