My 11th London 10k, raising funds for the charity started by Sir Bobby Charlton to give war-affected children better lives through football.

Our work provides safe access to recreational play for children from war-affected backgrounds. We use Sir Bobby’s language of football to foster social integration, trauma recovery, and the vital sense of belonging most of us take for granted.

In England, access to free football is declining fast, as playing fields become housing estates, and costs of community infrastructure and staffing escalate.

When families are struggling to make ends meet to put food on their child's plate, paying for them to play football is often impossible.

Sir Bobby believed that every child has the right to play, and to enjoy the health, fitness, social and skills development benefits it brings.

All funds donated will be distributed to community clubs across the country for them to enable children living in difficult circumstances to play, have fun, develop new skills and make new friends.
