For the past 15 months, I've been privileged to be part of the Spiritual Care volunteer team at Erdington Hospice. Recently, our 2 Spiritual Care Coordinators (chaplains) were made redundant due to cost-cutting measures, leaving a gap in the crucial support we provide. Despite receiving £5.5M funding annually from the NHS, the hospice's annual running costs of £15M pose an ever-increasing challenge in the current financial climate. Your donation will help us continue to provide holistic hospice care for those with life-limiting illnesses.
