Story
On August 28, 2024, a number of colleagues from WDFG are embarking on the Surrey Hills 3 Peaks Challenge, a demanding 18-mile hike over Box Hill, Leith Hill, and Holmbury Hill. A group from WDFG have just returned from an incredible trip to Malawi where they visited many projects that The One Foundation fund with the support of WDFG.
One highlight of the trip was visiting a school in Pimbe, where funds have contributed to a Sanitation Project and built a new toilet block for the 1000 girls.
The school were so grateful and appreciative of the new toilet block. Although this programme has initially helped to bring improved sanitation access to the school, funds have been limited and the school still needs a lot of help. Our aim is to raise £20,000 to build a second toilet block and provide further essential supplies like toilet paper etc.
As many of you know, I usually run for charity. I am rapidly finding walking a much greater challenge in terms of fitness and stamina but this cause is worth the pain!
I know it may be difficult to donate in the current climate but anything you can give will be much appreciated.
Thank you for your support!
