Nichala Gallivan was an incredible person who tragically lost her life to secondary breast cancer on 5th March 2024.

She began teaching English at Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School in 2010 and was a beloved teacher of many young people over the years, leaving a lasting imprint on countless lives.

She was kind, funny and empathetic to all. She was more then a colleague; she was a trusted and very much loved friend.

In the last few weeks of Nic’s life she was cared for at St David’s Hospice who have also provided invaluable support and love to her family - it was one of Nic’s wishes that money could be raised to give back to the hospice as a way of thanking them for their care.
