Story
We are taking part in the Cardiff 10K again this year to raise funds for Kidney Wales, a small charity that supports people affected by kidney disease.
We first joined the event in 2017 following Stu’s battle with kidney cancer, dialysis and later a kidney transplant. Since then, we have raised over £28,000 for the charity.
This year, we have over 20 runners of all ages and abilities taking part. The money raised will help more than 10,000 patients by providing financial support and contributing to their mental and physical wellbeing.
When we run again, it will be four years since Stu’s passing, but we know he would be immensely proud of everyone taking part.
We would be very grateful for any donation you can give to help us raise much-needed funds for those whose fight continues.
Kidney Wales....Supporting Families and Changing Lives.
Kidney patients have worries that extend beyond their health. At Kidney Wales we are helping patients daily providing guidance, funding vital research, offering monetary aid and enabling access to specialist support. Aiming to alleviate their worries and ensure they can focus fully on treatment and living their best life.
Kidney Wales does not receive any government funding, we rely on the generosity of the general public to continue our life-changing work
