I am hoping to swim 5K from now until 24/07/2024 for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness in memory of my beautiful cousin Bev who lost a very short battle to pancreatic cancer on 24/07/2023. Bev and her family had no time to even get their heads around the diagnosis let alone come to terms with her death. She died less than one month after diagnosis.

She had so much more life to live and enjoy with her husband and boys, but it was taken away so cruelly and suddenly. Hopefully by raising awareness it will prevent another family from going through the same devastation.

Wish me luck! I am not a swimmer, I am very slow, but I love it.

Hopefully I will complete in the time but if not I'll carry on until I do. ❤️
