Story
On the 1st of May, I will be heading to Vatersay with Dooker to start our 169 mile walk of the Western Isles. Leaving from Vatersay heading to Stornoway, then getting driven to the Butt of Lewis and walking back to Stornoway finishing at the Stornoway Lifeboat Station.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. More than ever people need the help of the RNLI but too many people are still drowning.
This needs to change and thanks to your help, it can.
Stornoway lifeboat station is crewed by volunteers, who provide a 24 hour search and rescue service. We rely on the support of our local communities to power our lifesaving service. Your support will help the running of lifeboat stations like Stornoway and, ultimately, help to save lives.
