On Saturday, September the 14th I am going to Zip Line across the Clyde with my daughters, Alison and Louise. We are doing this to raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice. Having turned 60 this year I thought it would be good to mark this occasion by doing a charity fund raising event. I spotted the Zip Line event and felt this would be the ideal opportunity to raise some money for this amazing charity whilst pushing my own inhibitions and fears at the same time (I’m terrified of water)! I hold a real fondness for the Ayrshire Hospice as we benefited from their amazing work and kindness when my mother-in-law spent her last few days in their amazing care.

Sorry I’ve not given you much time to sponsor me, however, even just a few pounds can really make a difference, and, with Diageo match funding, every donation will be doubled by the company.
