We are raising money for this charity to demonstrate love and support for our dear friends, Dave and Moya Meredith. They are both longstanding members of Knutsford Tennis Club and have contributed a huge amount of time and energy to the Club in numerous ways helping it to continue to be the thriving club it is today. Since Dave was diagnosed with MND last year, both he, Moya and their daughter, Sarah have received invaluable support from the MND Association and your donations will help this vital work to continue.

With motor neurone disease, known as MND, messages from the motor neurones gradually stop reaching the muscles. This leads the muscles to weaken, stiffen and waste, which can affect how those affected walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. Not all symptoms will affect everyone, or in the same order and will progress at varying speeds, which makes the course of the disease difficult to predict.

MND is life-shortening, and there is no cure.
