Hi!

I'm going to abseil down Guildford Cathedral tower to raise funds for the halow project, a Guildford based charity, which supports young people, aged 16+ with a learning disability, on their journey into adult life.

halow project was started in 2006 by a group of five families who wanted better provision and opportunities for their children, who were coming towards the end of the time at school in a formal setting.

Those families passionately believed that having a learning disability should not prevent people from accessing opportunities that meet their needs, and enjoying a full life.

They now support over 230 young people.

Your donation, large or small, will help to bring opportunities for fun, learning, developing life skills, finding talents, developing independence, making friendships, volunteering or finding a paid job, and making the most of life, to people with learning disabilities.
