Hi, those of you who know me well (or at all) will know that doing this kind of thing (running, not supporting a charity!) is a bit out of character, but you may also know that my son George was born with an undiagnosed congenital heart defect. He was transferred to GOSH at a week old and underwent life-saving open heart surgery at 4 weeks, and again when he was 3 years old. He is now a healthy (and awesome) teenager, although he will need further surgery before reaching adulthood. GOSH has always been a part of his life, and the care and support we have received from them has been amazing. I really want to do something to express my gratitude, and hopefully will make it through without resorting to walking!
